Welcome! You must be really interested in learning how to play the guitar right? Well, you'd be glad to know that the Internet is one of the best place to get an education in guitar playing! And you have just found my site, which strives to list the very best guitar resources around.
I've been mesmerised with the guitar since who-knows-when, and only recently have I become proficient enough to perform in front of friends, outings, etc. It's just a hobby though. I don't intend to play in bands or lounges as a guitarist.
I do hope that I can put up my experiences and all the resources I have about guitars, guitar playing, and guitar accessories and equipment here. Better here where everyone can learn from it, than in an obscure corner of my computer!
So first up, do you really know what a guitar is and how it works? To learn the guitar, you should understand how it works. Thankfully, there's a great article on guitars at How Stuff Works. What are frets for? What does the big hole in the front do? How does an electric guitar's pick-up work? Everything is explained there, as well as a bit on notes and scales too. Good stuff!
